Back in Time weekend: Anglo-saxon Exhibition and re-enactment weekend at Milton Abbey

What a precious exhibition at Milton Abbey, in Dorset, about the Saxons!

This time we went back in time, with the story of King Athelstan, the first King of England, how he reunited Britain, and how this has a thousand years of History!
A thousand years!

Milton Abbey has an Anglo-Saxon exhibition till the end of August (2018), really well curated and well organised.

They have an agenda already scheduled with events worth to see:

  • Saturday 21st July at 6.30pm The Farrant Singers
  • 30th July to 4th August 2018 International Music Festival – Vocces 8 (click below to see the full agenda)

On this video, we can see this weekend Re-enactment village with the group Hildsvin, and the amount of things we’ve learned were so educational and we could feel the spirit of the saxons. It was really a Back in Time weekend.

A brilliant time with the family!
