My 2 Pence:

We have Christmas, Mystery and WWII in this book! What is not to love? 3 of my favourite things in a book that is so easy to read and captures all the emotions around the war time and how having a friend is so appreciated and needed in those times. A very heartwarming novel.

This was the 1st book I’ve read from Elaine but now I NEED to read the Butlins Girls as well.

Super recommended this book with a nice cuppa and hoping for Christmas to arrive.
