Fashion Picks for November: Office Warm

Jack Frost is arriving way too quick, either in the UK as well as in Portugal (where I am right now). The degrees have lowered to a point that I am thinking of living in an Onesie with 3 bottles of hot water and inside a volcano… drama much? I don’t brrrrr much!

One of the things that I normally don’t wear, because I am short, is turtleneck sweaters/shirts. I never liked it, not only for fashion-related but because I am a bit claustrophobic and hate being inside a tube…

BUT… I’ve found these types of turtleneck sweaters to use underneath my jumpers, that the neck roll is shorter and actually frame my face really well.

A Sweater/Jumper is a staple piece, and forgive me, but nothing was more fun than a 80s jumper! But now, everything is doable to use, and the ‘gram’ is the best way to show it.

They are cute, can be accessorized easily and look effortless. Cozy can be the synonym of elegant as well.

While travelling these past weeks, I had the opportunity to try out a couple of different pieces from Femme Luxe Finery, as I have been working as an ambassador for them for a few months.

The clothing quality is good, the prices are good, and they have a wide range that fits any type of body, any pocket, and any occasion.

Keep Layers comfortable.

Turtlenecks are on trend. Either a shirt/jumper or as a dress. Best of all,  pair up these High Neck Bodycon with the below jumpers, and you will look and feel comfortable and cosy, whilst still having the flawless look.

Show that Jumper!

Show the figure in that Jumper! Jumpers are everywhere. This time I bring you a bit of colour with a nice pink tone.

Play with jumpers details, with the colours and accessories and also why not try using them differently. Try Split Jumpers and give them a knot in the front, or use them with faux leather trousers. Comfortable is the new chic.

The Oversized Shirts

One of my favourite trend this winter, the Oversized Shirt is such a 3 in 1 piece that I love and have several pieces in my wardrobe. Either use it as a dress, or tuck it in a pair of tailored trousers, or use if as a tunic. Many of these shirts have a belt, others tie-ins and others have a hoop to tie in many ways.

The Faux Leather Trousers/Leggings

There are certain rules to wear Faux Leather Trousers:

  • Your size (maybe you need to try a number above or below yours. You don’t want to wear a baggy trouser but also you don’t want to look like a link sausage.
  • Your shape. Either a “pear” or an “apple” body, your age doesn’t matter when wearing this, what matters is looking elegant and that the pair of trousers fit perfectly your body.
  • Keep it elegant. And not trashy. Not everyone needs to use this with a crop top, and not always you need to wear a tunic.

Depending on what the occasion is, office or party, just keep it cool and chic, and you will look a million bucks.

Long Coats

Here we are! To finish the payers this week, here is my fave coat of the moment. My love for coats goes through time and I think I have a coat of every colour once in my wardrobe. But nothing beat the Camel colour in coats, and on trend this season.

Can be matched for any occasion as well as with most of the colours you have in the wardrobe.

For me this coat is a statement coat and no one, bless them, should be without one!
