Being good at a job takes a lot more than simply working hard and having the right qualifications. It takes a long time to develop the experience you need to be able to consider yourself truly good at something, often making life hard for those who want to get into a high-level role as quickly as they can.

For example, if you are very interested in cycling, you could find yourself a job as a coach or bicycle mechanic, opening the doors to work which you will not only enjoy, but also be good at. Throughout life, most people will go through periods which don’t feel very fair. Whether your family falls apart or you lose a heavy legal battle, it can be hard to come out of these events with the right attitude. With all of this in mind, you should be feeling ready to take on the challenge of finding a career which matches the experiences you’ve had throughout your life.
