What is the RAF Museum
RAF means Royal Air Force (from the United Kingdom) and it’s a museum where you can see and hear about true facts of the Air Force in the Wars and also the advances on aeronautics through the times.




Aims of the RAF Museum

Where is it? 
Situated on the historic site of Hendon’s London Aerodrome in Colindale, this north London museum, is one of two sites belonging to the U.K’s only national museum that tells the story of the Royal Air Force through its people and collections. The museum’s collections in London include some very early aircraft designs through to the latest modern day jets and military aircraft.

With free admission plus free interactive and fun activities, including our 4D Cinema (located in Historic Hangars) and the emotive and uplifting sound and light show Our Finest Hour (located in the Battle of Britain Hall), the RAF museum London offers an entertaining and educational day out for all the family – just 30 minutes from central London. 


What you can see in the RAF Museum
A world-class collection and display of aircraft, integrated with special exhibitions, films, interactives, artwork, engines, missiles, photographs, medals and uniforms and research and education facilities, the Museum takes an innovative approach to telling these stories whilst keeping with tradition.




I love History, always did since I was a kid, but the theme of the World Wars were always one of my favorite.
