In the southern region of Venezuela, deep within the vast wilderness of Canaima National Park, there are landscapes with Tepuis.
A Tepui, or tepuy, is a table-top mountain, or mesas, because of its flat surface. They can be found in northern South America, especially in Venezuela, western Guyana, and northern Brazil.
The word tepui means “house of the gods” in the native tongue of the Pemon, the indigenous people who inhabit the Gran Sabana.
Come hike today with Juan Pablo and his experience in the jungle.
