Our experience:

Very positive. There was a group of 70 people on the weekend that we stayed there plus the hotel had a party going on with the room fully booked. The staff looked tired, but they honestly had a lot of work going on, still they delivered everything in time, in example: diner.

The hotel itself is good for families, they have children pack in the reception, for boys and girls with activities to do and entertain, which I did appreciated it. The hotel is not new, as my previous Double Tree, still the room are spacious and clean giving that warm welcoming home type, but maybe it’s time to revamp some things from the room: lights, furniture, get a more modern face and colours. The hotel had a good area and is in a good spot and would love to see new colours.

The staff was professional and really friendly, specially the ladies in the 14twelve restaurant. If you want a coffee, simply pick up your coffee from Starbucks at the Bar. I also liked the idea that you can upgrade your stay from B&B to have a meal included, you pay more (if I am not mistaken a £22 per person) and have lunch or diner. They have a menu and then each week the chef selects a new menu with new plates. Liked that a lot!
