Welcome to this month of March list.
Sorry for not being able to make the February list but as some of you know, i have been ill and a lot has happened and I actually couldn’t work for a week (more than that), so I am trying to keep all my deadlines ready.
Winter still shows some signs, with all the snowy days we had…. can you believe we had 4 months and a half of snow in the UK this 2017/2018??
My skin was beyond of dry and while drinking water or tea (coffee yeah!), the level of hydration of my skin reached below 0 (get it…snow…below 0) and I had to buy a bunch of new things plus the things I got from some brands (very much appreciated by the way!).
Since I was at home, I decided to make some makeup looks (hope you follow me on social media, the links are on the upper right corner to check it out), and I was missing having some pretty nice makeup looks as I used to do before having Alejandra’s Life (my youtube was stolen in 2013 remember that story…?).

Rimmel London Mascara (Kate Moss Ed.) in Eye Rock Amethyst
Don’t be fooled by the colour, this colour is super flattering and amazing!
This edition of mascaras, in gem tone shades (there are several tones, this one is amethyst, there is also Emerald, etc) were designed by Kate. Broken heart-shaped brush curves to the lash-line: the thin tip grabs hard-to-reach inner lashes, while the amplified base pulses lashes with dramatic volume and curve. Lashes are plumped and lifted in one clean stroke with no clumps. Apply several layers to see a great result.
Mirenesse Studio BB coverall – Multicorrection Palette
Now, a more vintage product in my makeup bag and I also know about the lifespan of the products…but I do love this little palette from Mirenesse.
As you can see I have used it (well…), it has traveled with me a lot and still it won’t lose it’s smoothness or the correction fails… it is simple a great palette from a great Aussie brand that I love.
This correction palette is for light skin tone and to cover blue hues. Simply Brilliant!
W7 Cosmetics – Besties Box Set Companion – Bronzer, Mascara & Lippy MakeUP
I think this is brilliant!
Why not try the products first before buying the full size ones? Or why not giving this as a gift… I would have loved that if someone would give this box as a gift.
This box contains:
- W7 Honolulu Bronzer
- Full Colour Lipstick in Angry Annie
- Lashtastic Black Mascara
The Bronzer is a bit tricky to apply, because it’s a little size for the Kabuki, but a great colour, the mascara is brilliant and the shade of the lipstick got me gobsmacked since I was not very keen on it, but then…all the difference. For the price, it was a great finding! Now I need to buy them all in full size.
