I have a problem with White clothes – they never stay white! Never ever… I think I am not the only one with this problem right?
I separate my clothing, the whites from the coloured and from the dark clothing but still… Argh! So frustrating!!
Bleach is not the solution, it can damage the clothing and will eventually turn the yellowish and break the fibers.
Vinegar is not the solution, the clothing will happen the same like with Bleach and will make you have a smell of Super Salad walking down the street.
So, I decided to try the new (and what everyone says is so wonderful) Daz Whites and Colours.
Daz is a British brand for washing white clothes and has been on the market for 60 years.
Everyone was telling me about it and I decided to give it a go, and because it was more practical to use a good whitening brand like Daz than a cocktail of products that will eventually ruin my clothes.
I got this amazing box full of goodies and hopefully it would help me.
I am very skeptic when it comes to try new products – not very patient sometimes and especially being sleep deprived for 3 months – believe me is not easy to be Zen.
Fortunately (or unfortunately) I had in that same time, things to test it.
My little RJ has the same problem I had when I was a kid, and most of the kids have it, bleeding from the nose. Nothing too serious but still it bothers me because it normally happens while he is asleep. One morning went to wake him up to go to nursery and there he was with his little face covered in dry blood and his pillow with a huge pool (yes TMI!).
Blood stains are one of the most difficult to take it, and it should be washed immediately or else the iron on your blood with oxidate and leave a yellowish/brown line.
I decided to test this one first. Here is how I done it:
The other thing I’ve tried is the Shirts. Specially in the neck collar.
Till now, everything is working fine and I can really say I am happy… But more tests will be runned!
