This is one of the British favorite dishes and one of the easiest to do.
I prefer going to the Market and pick fresh produce for our farmers, but sometimes when I go to the supermarket, I pick the organic fresh vegetables.
This recipe makes 4, Freezable
Here is what you need:
2 Tbsp of Olive Oil
120/130gr of Carrots, diced
160gr of Potato, diced
160gr of Minced Beef
(can be made with minced lamb as well)
3 Tbsp of Peas
250ml of Beef or vegetable unsalted Stock, or water
Spices: garlic, onion, mixed herbs and Bay leaf
(everything is optional, depends on what your child likes.
I prefer, for now, to use in powder)
LET’S COOK!
Put the olive oil in a pan, and fry the beef
Add the carrot
Add the Potato
Add the Stock or water
Add the Peas
Add the spices
Let it cook for 20 minutes or until tender
If you Added the Bay leaf, don’t forget to take it
from the food before purée
Mash or Purée
Serve!
